[Sold] 2000 S1 LOTUS ELISE TYPE 79 JPS COLOURS MEGA RARE NO: 8/31

Please note this Elise was taken in part exchange and does require some restoration hence being sold as project at a very competitive price. Please read on for more details.

Original Type 79 in JPS Colour scheme. This is a mega rare Elise being build Number 8 of only 31 ever made with certificate of provinonce from Lotus to prove.

Type 79’s came with a number of factory changes over the standard models such as:
111s alloys painted gold.
111s Rear spats.
Gold grills, side pods and fuel cap.
Smoked front indicators.
111s seats and custom interior.

HPI Clear – can email certificate.

2 x keys, 1 x fob.

4 owners from new.

COC available for export @ £100 extra.

Letter from Lotus breaking each character of the chassis number down for this rare car plus certificate of provenance stating the factory specifications.

Originally orderd and sold by Williams Automobiles Ltd of Bristol.

A lot of maintenance work has recently been carried out:

4 x alloy wheels refurbishment.
New catalytic converter for MOT.
Cambelt done at 64,000 miles.
Most of the above modification fitted within the last 3,000 miles.
Last serviced February this year.

Drives very well, engine pull harder than most other standard s1’s.

Body work is in overall good condition, although the car is hpi clear is has obviously taken a knock at some point near the passenger door mirror hinge area. The passenger side wing mirror has been replaced with a black non painted item, this has also caused cracks on the door by the mirror mount. To the same area the sill has also been repaired not done to the best of standards and the hinge has been knock. There is no damage to the alloy floor or any of the suspension mounts it does seem to be localised to this area. Interior wise there is a cut in the dash and the original seats have been replaced by extra padded s2 Elise type seats. The interior door cards have just been recovered to tidy them up in the original sandy/gold alcantara.
