We have personally known the car for 5 years, when we purchased the car it had only ever run 7psi of turbo boost due to the standard Elise fuel pump. The Elise was tested at 195bhp on the rolling road. We then had the car mapped by Mechanics of Congleton after fitting an Escort Cosworth fuel pump and have the power / torque graph and invoice to prove. We purposefully filled the car up with standard 95 ron fuel before mapping and asked for a safe map at 12psi.  The result is an Elise Turbo that doesn’t require super unleaded fuel and with the benefit of running closed loop lambda off boost fuel economy is very good. The cold start map has also been checked a number of times with the recent freezing mornings.

The ECU/MAP sensor/Oil breather are mounted in the boot but the boot it still very usable and can easily fit the roof etc.
